Leadership Training

The core of CIWiL’s work is focussed on supporting, encouraging and educating women throughout the Caribbean on leadership.  The basis of the leadership approach is based on a paradigm that is grounded on the principles and values of equity, equality, democracy, justice, caring and cooperation.

YWiL

YWiL is a series of national-level initiatives to be implemented across the Caribbean specifically to foster young women’s interest in public leadership. The programme is designed to support young women leaders in building knowledge, skills, and networks necessary for their work as current and future change-makers in the region.

Mentorship

CIWiL recognises that women aspiring to be or involved in politics, leadership and other forms of decision-making in the region and throughout the world, often stand alone in their capacities as leaders, walking the corridors and institutions of power as the sole female representative of their constituents, clients, and organisations.

Webinars

CIWiL has pivoted its programming to include the use of online tools for convening dialogues on themes critical to its work of advocacy for advancing gender equality in the Caribbean. Via webinars, virtual consultations and meetings CIWiL engages in discussions with members, activists, decision-makers, partners and allies from across the region on issues that align with its with its vision.
