On Friday 9th December 2022, CIWiL in support of the Spotlight Initiative hosted a virtual forum entitled, Disability Inclusion Advocacy for Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response.
The panelists included Kimberley Sherlock Marriott-Blake, Executive Director of the Jamaica Association for the Deaf (JAD), Rosemarie Ramitt, Coordinator for Women and Disabilities Network, The Guyana Council of Organisations for Persons with Disabilities (GCOPD), and Marilyn McKoy, Executive Director of the Jamaica Association on Intellectual Disabilities (JAID). The session was moderated by Mickel Jackson, Executive Director for Jamaicans for Justice (JfJ).
