CIWiL Bahamas National Chapter Executive Elections

Nassau, The Bahamas – November 22, 2019 (BAH): – The Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWiL) is pleased to announce the establishment of CIWiL Bahamas National Chapter. The Bahamas National Chapter is the 2nd National Chapter established in Caribbean, the first being in St Kitts and Nevis.

The CIWiL Bahamas National Chapter Executive:

  • Charlene R. Paul – Chairperson (country representative on CIWiL’s Regional Board)
  • Robyn Dawn Lynes – Vice Chairperson
  • Virginia Thurston – Treasurer
  • Sharon Martin – Secretary
  • Jasadette Hepburn – Public Relations Officer

The formation and activities of National Chapters across the region aims to:

  1. broaden perspectives on women’s political participation,

  3. build partnerships across political and professional lines including men as allies,
  4. implement projects/ initiatives that advance women’s transformational leadership.

CIWiL will continue to work to prepare aspiring women for effective leadership throughout the region.
