CIWiL’s key programme activity under its current project is the implementation of training initiatives especially training focused on Electoral Candidates and Women in Political Leadership.

These workshops focused on preparing women candidates and providing them with the skills and knowledge to become agents of social change and is key to building the skills, knowledge and values women to participate in the political process.

This is based on the recognition that to achieve more just, poverty-free, violence-free and equitable nations throughout the region, women must be fully involved in the decision-making processes that impact their lives.
